This conference suite with a seating capacity of 22 features a 2.1 audio systemusing a pair of 6FP100T loudspeakers and a single 8SM300T compact subwoofer, powered by a 4SDL160 4 channel ampli fi er con fi gured to its internal 2.1 mode allowing room tuning capabilities. This systemwas chosen for its ability to achieve higher SPL’s when necessary but also to facilitate a smooth and clear lower working volume. The ampli fi er was installed in a side roomout of reach to general suite users. A single VLA42 was used thanks to its multiple audio input options, inclusive IR remote and ability to be installed above a false ceiling. The also inclusive IR sensor extension was used to o ff er reliable IR remote operation throughout the room. A small patch panel was a ff ixed to the head of the desk so the connection of audio devices was neat and straight forwards, of which the IR remote provided source and volume control of each input.
