A small footprint background audio systemwith excellent audio reproduction in the formof four 4FW50T loudspeakers strategically placed to provide even coverage, twinned with a single 8SM-300T subwoofer to provide a rich lower frequency extension. This combination provides a Hi-Fi like listening experience at an excellent price point. With the subwoofer hidden within the serving area and the wideband loudspeakers mounted up high and out of the way, the systemwas barely visible. Powering the loudspeakers is a single 4SDL160 four-channel ampli fi er con fi gured in its 2.1 mode making use of its internal crossover settings. This was installed into a compact rack case alongside a VLA42 for simple audio replay capabilities. The optional JUP2 rack kit was speci fi ed for the VLA42meaning the entire playback systemwas housed in a 3U fl ight case with the catering sta ff having access to a hardwired, portablemedia player.
